"I recently purchased my second Harley from Gruene Harley. I upgraded from a 2005 Fat-Boy to a 2009 Ultra Classic. After having the Ultra Classic for only 2 days I noticed a slight noise from the primary when I shut the engine off. I took it back up there expecting to have to haggle or argue to get this issue resolved. I was wrong. I was met with a smile and genuine concern for the problem. I told them I had a trip coming up that has been planned for months, and that I needed my bike back fast. After talking to Smitty and Chris in the service department, Jon in sales gave them the ok to overnight parts to get me back on the road. I contacted Jay in service today to get an update and my ride will be ready tomorrow. I feel so good about doing business with Gruene Harley that I wanted to fill out this survey before my bike is even done. "I rode my Kawasaki to Gruene Harley with a friend who had just purchased an '06 Softtail. I had looked at an '09 Sportster on their website. I called and talked to Montana and requested a trade value on the Kawasaki. Before we got to the dealership, Montana had a trade-in value and was handing me the keys to test drive the Sportster. I bought the Sportster and within a month I knew I was on the wrong bike - something about not being 20 years old anymore. Less that 90 days after I bought the Sportster, I traded it in on an '11 Fat Bob. Gruene Harley was more than fair regarding the second trade-in and I rode out the same day. Thomas, in parts, worked with me on the sissy bar and luggage rack for the Fat Bob as they are not parts designed for the bike - they are from a different model but fit the Fat Bob. I wanted a square tube style not the round tube style and Thomas worked with me over a month or so, until the right setup was found. Montana and Thomas as well as the other people in this dealership are top notch. I would highly recommend the Gruene dealership to anyone looking for a Harley or accessories."

"I bout 2010 FLHR ROAD KING last year.Great service,great staff. This is the store i put my money on when it comes to my motorcycle.I am an army veteran an i also thank you for the incentives you offer.last week in san antonio tex. someone backed up into my R.K. I called MR. RAY in parts he helped me get my R.K to your shop out standing! Insurance agent went yesterday added up the repairs and a check would be sent in 5 days. The set back is that parts cannot be ordered until ck is in. Thats another week before parts come in and another week before repairs are done. "I've been going to Gruene harley for about 2 years now. I had a sporty that I originally had service work done. The work was always done on time and they even washed the bike. I have been drooling over the new dyna's for a long time. Seems like I was in the showroom almost every weekend. I have talked to every salesman there and was always impressed with their knowledge and no pressure attitude. When it came time to buy, I was trying to find a used bike that was only a year or two old to save a little money. I went to a non harley dealer trying to make a deal on one I really liked but ended up wasting three days because they just couldn't get it together. The fourth day I was driving home from work and I stopped by to see my pal Paul. I told him what bike I would buy if I could afford a new one, he told me he could get it in my budget, I filled out a credit app and had to run a quick errand then went home. There was already a message on my machine that he worked out my payment at exactly my budget was, already had it approved, and I went and picked it up that same day. Don't waste your time going anywhere else when these people listen to what you want, what you can afford, and simpley make it happen with no fighting back and forth for more money. Everytime I have been in this dealership I have been greeted with a friendly smile and a little biker gab. They are real people, real riders, and they all love what they do. "My wife and I have been going to Gruene Harley for around three years to visit and buy clothes and HD "bling bling" for our 2008 Roadking. We took our Roadking to Gruene HD for new tires and some other service work. Although we live in the Houston area I have never had a good experience with any of the local HD dealers. We thought driving 150 miles to Gruene would be worth a try. Mr. Chris Mora and Mr. James Halm serviced our Roadking and I will have to say that it was a most pleasant experience. When we picked up "Lucille" she was spotless, showroom clean, just like the day we dropped her off. They performed the work and only replaced parts that actually needed to be replaced. At a time when some dealerships are cutting back by hiring inexperienced non-riders, it's a treat to find a place that has real motorcyclists working the trenches. "I contacted Gruene after talking to my main dealer in hopes that I could find a better deal on a ape hanger installation. Not only did they give me a better deal they did something that my dealer told me could not be done. Gruene installed my apes with black cables for half of what I was quoted elsewhere. "Where do I start? I was in San Antonio last week for a wedding, stayed for a visit. Checked out Javelina H-D and then Gruene H-D. I met Paul Ray when I was walking around checking the place out. From the gate, what a great guy, turns out we know a few of the same people. The crew from Brians H-D in Langhorne, Pa and a guy Paul used to race against back in the day. A guy named Ferraci, from Willow Grove, Pa I worked with Ferraci back in the 60's when I was in high school. Paul took me around introduced me to his son, who was packing fo Daytona, I got an autographed picture of Michael and wished him luck. Paul and I talked about life, our previous careers in construction etc. I only wished I had more time and lived closer so I could spend more time there and make it "my" Harley shop. Thanks for the true Texas hospitality. " This is the best experience I ever had in a Harley dealership. The parts department were quick to help me find what I was looking for and it was ordered and sent promptly. The ladies that worked up front were very knowledgeable and help me find the right gifts for the women in my life. Most dealerships are not as quick to help me. I do not look like your stereotypical Harley rider and am very young. I get the impression they think I am not worth their time. My experience in Gruene was completly different. "I was on a trip when I found I had no headlight; I was greeted and taken care of immediately. The technician found the problem right away, and had me come back to the service area where he showed me the problem. Seems it was a faulty bulb, which was getting hot and melted the plastic connector. He did a test on the connector, and with a new bulb I was ready to go. I felt very good after talking to the tech, and everyone in the dealership was friendly and offered to help. "Took my Sportster in because it was running a little rough. Since I had moved here recently I suspected that the carb jetting needed some changes. Turned out to be nothing more than a dirty air filter. The service dept could have changed out the jets anyway and charged me for "fixing" my bike...I would not have known the difference. Instead they cleaned the air filter, charged my nothing, and the bike runs fine. Nice to see this kind of professionalism and honesty. Thanks Albert."
